Foodie Friday – Bearded Hogs BBQ

Yesterday my husband and I were driving to Coverley and on the way he picked up an amazing smell. “Who is that?! That is that truck man – Bearded Hog, that has to be them!” – his exact words and with no time wasted we called and placed our order. When we got to the off road food truck Delandro was greeting by the owner Jamal, he was very friendly and proud of his food. When we got home, we decided to plate and enjoy this beauty as it was supposed to be; not rushed.

THE Food

We opened the crate and saw the most beautiful pieces of ribs, with hand-cut fries and coleslaw for $25 guys! The first thing I though was “real potatoes?!” The joy so we sat, made sure the kids where settled because – remember the first bite is important. I went with a silver fork because you never know, sometimes ribs are a little tough. But not these, the ribs fell OFF the bones almost as if they were enemies that couldn’t wait to get away from each other!

Every component of this dish was delicious, well seasoned and a great portion size. This morning I woke up thinking about this meal, this is how you know the food was good.
We hope you give them a try, if you have let us know your experience and better yet shout out Bearded Hog BBQ!
I will see you again soon sir!

Let the good times continue as we show you some amazing spots to Eat | Work | Play.
