3 Movies I am excited to see in 2020

It is the new year and the beginning of a new decade. I am super excited to see what this first year has to offer in the entertainment world of movies and I have chosen this bite-size shortlist and not limited to any specific genre. What movies are you excited to see in 2020? Let us know in the comments below.

1 - TenEt

Tenet is my first pick because its directed by one of my favorite directors Christopher Nolan who also wrote this new film. It is an action thriller and though the trailer showed us very little by way of the script, I can’t help but be excited for this mind bending movie July 17th, 2020. If I had to describe the vibe, it was as if his prior movie Momento and Inception had a baby and his name was called The Equalizer 2?

2. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

My 2nd pick is Sonic the Hedgehog. Yes, I know but in my defense it is more about the intrigue of seeing this nostalgic game from my childhood with Jim Carrey as the Dr. Eggman, come on, this will be at least a good belly laugh of fun. Not to mention the ruckus it made in 2019 when the first trailer received a ton of hate for its more elongated humanoid depiction of Sonic. This one drops on February 14th, 2020.

3. BIRDS OF PREY

Image & Video Credit: IMDB

The last on this list is not the least but the soonest to show coming to a theater near you February 6th, 2020. The source material is from DC Comics and will feature Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and is connected to the same universe as Suicide Squad from 2016. The trailer was just as colorful and engaging as the artwork for the posters and the casts of strong female leads a breath of fresh air.

The best logos have hidden gems (we have a secret hidden in ours too)

Before we talk about ours let us talk about one of the best ones i first heard of…In an interview with Fast Company, the logo’s designer, Lindon Leader, said, “The arrow could connote forward direction, speed and precision, and if it remained hidden, there might be an element of surprise, that aha moment.”

CAN YOU GUESS THE HIDDEN GEM? This design was created to overtly represent the C in Cornerstone & a slice taken from the corner of the digitized pizza but I immediately saw the call back to an early childhood game…

Years ago while swimming at the beach I was stung by a Jellyfish. That moment stuck with me quite literally…A jellyfish is a symbol of love, so if it appears in your life, it means that you should trust your heart and follow your own emotions. It is also a symbol of acceptance and balance. A jellyfish is ready to accept life and it always finds a way how to survive.
